What Wedding Dress Will You Wear?

Wedding Dresses Come in All Styles and Sizes

with veil, no veil, short, long etc., it’s a big decision. Who picks the dress?

Recently, Katie Couric married her fiance and news is buzzing about how he helped pick out her gown. She wore an ivory beaded and embroidered Chantilly lace gown, which apparently he helped her narrow down from all of the other choices. Couric hopes it doesn’t bring bad luck to break tradition.

Traditionally the bride picks the wedding dress but these days traditions are commonly broken in favor of more personalized choices.

Some brides are choosing to walk down the aisle with the groom rather than be escorted. This may become more common especially in second marriages.

Traditionally the bride and groom do not stay together the night before the wedding, this too has become less traditional as so many couples are already living together and choose to overlook this tradition.

What Color Will You Wear?

Some brides are choosing not to wear white for the wedding, this is particularly becoming more common in second marriages.

Another trend becoming popular are brides choosing to wear comfortable shoes rather than fancy high heels. Some are choosing to wear bridal flip flops or even bridal tennis shoes.
