Recently, Katie Couric married her fiance and news is buzzing about how he helped pick out her gown. She wore an ivory beaded and embroidered Chantilly lace gown, which apparently he helped her narrow down from all of the other choices. Couric hopes it doesn’t bring bad luck to break tradition.

Another trend becoming popular are brides choosing to wear comfortable shoes rather than fancy high heels. Some are choosing to wear bridal flip flops or even bridal tennis shoes.
