Outdoor Wedding Planning Tips

Whether you decide to have your wedding on the beach or outside at The Celebration Hall, you will need to keep a few things in mind for your preparations. Remember, weather is unpredictable. With that in mind it is probably not a good idea to decorate in advance as you might for an indoor wedding. However, if you have a crew of people to work with and everything you need organized and ready to go, you should be able to put your outdoor wedding decorations together fairly quickly.

The backdrop is an important wedding feature

The backdrop is what will be behind the bride and groom during the ceremony, the focal point so to speak. You may rent an altar or wedding arch and decorate it with ivy, vines and flowers. Or you may have a natural setting already to use as your backdrop that you can use and decorate with fabric such as tuille, which is an excellent choice for wedding decorating. Chairs will be needed for the ceremony, make it easy for your crew and use the same chairs for the reception/dinner. Once you pick out an entrance for the bride you will want to add a little decoration there as well. Consider paper lanterns which are battery powered or for a more rustic look, you can use mason jars with candles in them hung attractively or on tables. Outdoor evening weddings are highlighted by the glow of attractive wedding lighting choices and also make sure your guests can see where they are going.
