Musical Tips From Us

Special Moments and Wedding Music

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. There are so many decisions to make like choosing to have your wedding at The Celebration Hall! This will be one of the best decisions you will ever make. But there are many more decisions including choosing your music!

There will be the traditional choices such as the Wedding March, the classical piece played when the bride comes down the aisle, before the wedding and after. Another popular choice is Pachabel’s Canon, Here Comes the Bride (processional), and there are non traditional choices as well. How about hiring someone to play the harp at your wedding? The harp has a distinctive sound which makes any occasion more special. The ukelele is another instrument you might consider hiring someone to play.

There are some very unique sounds from both of these instruments that can make your wedding music even more special. Bagpipes can add a special flair to your wedding day. Bagpipes music is something you might consider particularly if either of the bride or groom is Scottish or Irish. Celtic music is another great choice.

We Will Help You With Your Many Decisions

After the wedding there will be even more special musical choices to make. Often there is the father and daughter dance that gives the father of the bride a special dance with his daughter. This is a traditional dance presenting a good way to officially celebrate the daughter leaving home. A song such as “Butterfly Kisses” makes for a special dance.
