Do you remember when the only phone you had was the one at home and if someone called you and you weren’t there you missed the call?

There was no texting and driving because there were no cell phones, no internet, no social media sites. Times have certainly changed for the better in many ways.

There are sometimes though, when this technological advancement can be more of a nuisance than anything else.

One of those times is your wedding.
Can you imagine walking down the aisle in a room full of people and having a cell phone ring and God forbid, someone answer and say “hello.” If you are getting married and have the opportunity, be sure to tell your guests ahead of time how you feel about cell phones and social media at your wedding.

Can you imagine getting engaged and not having told everyone in your circle of family and friends about it yet and reading about it on FaceBook? To prevent this from happening make sure you tell everyone you want to know before posting on FaceBook about your engagement.

Changing your Facebook status is now an acceptable way to let people know your relationship status. Engaged is an option on Facebook now.

What about your wedding photos and pictures people are taking on their cell phones, what if the pictures show up on Facebook?

Consider having a web page for your wedding plans and address these subjects on your wedding page. These are only a few suggestions, there is much more to be said about this topic. Celebration Hall wants your special day to be free of annoying interruptions and aggravations.

“And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.” And so, the story of Ruth and her loyalty to her mother in law became a beautiful song. Whither Thou Goest is a popular song written by Guy Singer. The song was published in 1954. The words originated from the Bible (Ruth 1:16-17) (King James Version). The song is in part about long term commitment and faithfulness.

Are you ready for commitment? Are you ready for faithfulness?

Thy people will be my people my love . . .Whither thou goest, I will go.Wherever thou lodgest, I will lodge. Thy people will be my people my love, Whither thou goest, I will go! For as in that story, long ago,The same sweet love story, now is so, Thy people shall be my people my love,Whither thou goest, I will go! Whither thou goest I will go, Wherever thou lodgest, I will lodge, Thy people will be my people my love, Whither thou goest I will go. . .For as in that story long ago, The same sweet love story now is so,Thy people shall be my people my love, Whither thou goest, I will go,I will go . . .
